About
The UTJA language exchange session is primarily aimed to provide an opportunity for students who want to practice their Japanese skills to meet Japanese students who want to practice their English skills. Participants will be able to practice their English and Japanese skills through group conversations and recreational activities in a casual and relaxed environment. The details of the language exchange (the venue and time) will be posted on both this website and the Facebook group page weekly. Please check it out.
UTJAランゲージエクスチェンジは、日本語および英語学習者向けに、両言語の能力向上の場を提供することを目的としたイベントです。カジュアルでリラックスした環境で、英語の堪能な学生やネイティブスピーカーとの交流を通じ、自身の会話力に磨きをかけていきましょう。イベントの詳細な場所、時間は本サイトおよびUTJAフェイスブックページに毎週告知されますので、お気軽にご参加ください。
Format
Participants are divided into groups of Japanese speakers and English speakers. English speakers are further divided into groups of beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Staff will combine members from Japanese speakers and English speakers to form tables of approximately 5 members. After the tables are settled, there will be one hour of conversation in each language. Please try to speak as much as you can only in the target language during that time.
